Admission to the course is open to men and women from all parts of the country. All admissions to the B.Ed. (Special Education-V. I.) programme will be made through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025. The merit will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the CUET, 2025. CUET (P.G.) 2025 will be conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode only. Medium of question papers CUET (PG) 2025 will be conducted in English and Hindi (bilingual) except for language.
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degreein Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other Qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program (RCI letter no. 7-128/RCI/2015).

B. Ed Special Education (V.I) is not limited to preparing teachers for the visually impaired only, but has gone a long way to ensure inclusive quality education through training the prospective teachers in both theory and practice of inclusive pedagogy. This will be evident from the course of study and examination of the B.Ed. (Special Education -Visually Impaired) Programme affiliated to the University of Delhi and recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
